How often do I need to change them during the day?
That depends on your flow. For light to moderate days, one pair may last all day. For heavier flows, you might want to change halfway through or opt for our super absorbency styles like the Orgaknix Super Bikini or High Waist Brief.
How does period underwear actually work?
Period underwear is made with multiple absorbent layers that trap menstrual fluid and wick away moisture, keeping you dry and protected—without the need for pads or tampons. Some styles can hold up to 60ml (about 12 tampons’ worth!).
Will they smell or feel wet?
Nope! The moisture-wicking layer helps keep you dry and odour-free. As long as you’re wearing the correct absorbency for your flow, they feel just like regular undies—but way more protective.
How do I wash and care for them?
Rinse them in cold water after use, pop them into a cold machine wash (preferably in a wash bag), and air dry. Avoid fabric softeners or heat to protect the absorbent layers and extend their lifespan.
