Eco Period swimwear and underwear are as comfortable and functional as your favourite swimsuit or undergarment, but they can do much more: they feature an integrated membrane system in the crotch that draws in your period flow into its core and a final layer that prevents it from leaking through. We are pleased to introduce the EcoTech 4 Layer Technology system to you :
The body-hugging layer is made of soft wicking fabrics, characterised by their ability to quickly wick moisture away from the body. So you don’t feel wet against the body. In our period swimwear, this is called a dry mesh layer, in our eco period underwear, this is generally organic cotton or other natural fabrics.
The middle layer is made up of specialised organic cotton or bamboo fibres that absorb moisture away like a sponge.
The outermost layer is a liquid-impermeable membrane that will not leak fluid, to protect you from leaking and unpleasant stains. In addition, this layer - like all other layers - is breathable and ensures that you do not sweat and prevents odours.
The final layer is your base underwear of breathable fabrics, which holds it all together. All eco period swimwear are made with double layers of water resistant, UV resistant, chlorine resistant recycled nylon.
PERIOD UNDERWEAR

Yes, eco briefs were designed to be worn alone, with no tampons required. If you wish to wear a menstrual eco cup as well, this can extend the wear time of your eco briefs.
Also the length of time you can wear each pair depends on your flow.
As a general rule, we recommend choosing heavy or super absorbency for your heavy flow days and moderate or light for your lighter days.
-
The number of briefs you need will depend on how heavy your flow is, how often you are washing the briefs and how many days your period lasts.
We suggest checking out the Know your Flow page for further guidance.
A good start is a6 pack bundle. We have Mix and match bundles that you can choose your favourite styles and absorbencies for your needs.
It is important to change your underwear when you feel wetness, to avoid potential irritation from moisture. When you start to feel it, it is time to change.
You may prefer not to have to wash your underwear straight away (just rinse them and hang them over your shower or laundry or dry pail til ready to wash), and so you may need a larger bundle if you wish to wear eco briefs exclusively.
Our heavy absorbency underwear will hold 3-4 tampons or 20-40 ml of fluid, and that is any fluid, not just for periods, but also light leaks. Super underwear holds up
to 60 ml.We recommend building your knowledge of your flow and your
confidence with the underwear slowly, test them out at home first and overnight so you can see how great they work! -
We only use natural fibres against the skin, of organic cotton and bamboo, which are known for their breathability and ability to neutralise bad odours and bacteria. Because our underwear have a super absorbent core, it keeps you dry and feeling fresh.

-
In every pair of orgaknix Eco Period underwear, the layer that sits closest to your skin is soft, natural, breathable organic cotton.
The rest of the tech is held in ultra-thin layers between that cotton interior and the leak-resistant barrier.
All fabrics are tested against OEKO-TEX Standard 100 to ensure no harmful substances are found in any of the fabrics used to make our garments.
The key factor in using eco period briefs is to ensure that you monitor your flow and change your underwear frequently.
You should be changing when you no longer feel dry against the skin. This may be every 3-4 hours. If you experience a reaction, seek medical advice.
The other important factor in
avoiding reactions is to ensure you wash your garments before use using Castile
soap or another natural detergent with no fragrances or irritants. Continue to
wash your underwear and pads in natural detergent every wash. -
Organic cotton is:
- Healthy - Organic Cotton farming does not use synthetic fertilisers, harmful pesticides or other dangerous chemicals that can be harmful to your health.
- Environmentally-friendly - Harmful chemicals are not used that would damage the soil, environment, and
workers. Cotton is a renewable resource. - High Quality - Organic cotton fibres are softer and stronger than regular cotton, as they are not broken down by chemical processing.
- Durable - Not exposed to weakening chemicals, organic cotton will last many years, with proper care.
- Comfortable - Natural fibres are comfortable to the touch. A comfortable feeling knowing that chemicals are not touching the skin, and there is no harm to the environment.
-
The functional reason is because it is a denser fabric that is more luxe and durable. It holds its shape better and does not pill and break down as much as bamboo viscose over time.
The key reason is because bamboo viscose production involves the use of many chemicals, such as caustic soda. This process makes bamboo viscose a semi-synthetic fibre.
Organic cotton is a natural fibre, hence our preference for using this fabric for our signature orgaknix range and for the inner lining fabric of our other garments.
-
More than 12 billion pads and tampons are thrown out every year worldwide, and the average woman uses 11,000 pads, tampons, and panty liners in their lifetime — that’s a lot of landfill!
-
Eco period underwear has undergone OEKO-TEX Standard 100 testing for hazardous materials and passed the stringent testing, the Organic cotton we use in our briefs is GOTS certified.
Our period underwear does not contain harmful plastics or PFAS, or silver additives and our leakproof layer is made of TPU which is safety tested and approved by OEKO-TEX standards.

GENERAL
-
Eco period underwear and swimwear are designed with comfort in mind, offering a snug yet breathable and comfortable fit. They are designed to quickly absorb your flow, so as to keep you feeling dry.
You will know it is time to change your period undies if they feel wet. It is important to wash your period undies and period swimwear before you first wear them (after checking the fit), as this will activate the
technology and prime it ready for use. It won't work as well if you do
not first wash them. -
Eco Period Undies and Period Swimwear come in various sizes to accommodate different body shapes and preferences, including teenage swimwear and period underwear options for tweens and teens, and for women from size 6 to 26.
Please use our product filters on your chosen collection page to filter products available in your chosen size and style.

Typically, you will need to change at least every 8-12 hours, but on heavy days, you may be changing every 4 hours.
-
Our period garments are built to last, with high-quality materials that withstand multiple washes and uses. You can trust that our period underwear and swimwear will maintain their effectiveness and integrity over time.
With monthly use, you can generally expect to get at least 1-2 years out of a pair of period underwear.
Period swimwear should be of a similar durability, depending on the frequency of use. Period swimwear fabrics have chlorine-resistant treatments, but are not quite as durable as say polyester fabrics.
-
Eco Period underwear and bathers are crafted from breathable and moisture-wicking fabrics, ensuring that you stay dry and comfortable, even during physical activity or while swimming.
Our Eco Pads are made with DryTouch TM tech fabrics that quickly absorb moisture away from the body and hold a phenomenal amount of menstrual or bladder fluid.
-
Our period underwear and swimwear feature advanced odor-control technology to keep you feeling fresh and confident throughout the day or while swimming.
This is achieved through use of natural fibres against the skin and locking in flows into the core to control release of odor.
-
Washing period undies and period bikinis/ swimwear is simple and hassle-free.
They can be machine-washed (we recommend using a garment bag), and then line-dried for best results.
We do recommend rinsing them really well prior to machine washing them. And use liquid natural detergent and cold water for your wash cycle.
-
Our period underwear and swimwear are designed to be discreet, providing a seamless and invisible appearance under clothing.
Some of our undies are more discreet than others. If you are after daytime options with invisible lines, choose a moderate or light absorbency in a seamless style.
These are perfect for fitness and wearing under activewear/ leggings.
Boyshorts will have a little bit of bulk to them, but are great to wear under school skirts and dresses or for sleeping on heavy flow nights.
Period swimwear have hidden layers that are stitched on the inside, so the outer fabric is without seamlines at the front. There is a single line on some swimwear at the base of the swimmers, which is consistent with some regular swimwear.
-
While the initial investment may be higher than traditional menstrual products, our period underwear and swimwear are cost-effective in the long run, as they can be reused for multiple menstrual cycles.
Let's break down the cost of period underwear compared to traditional menstrual products over a two-year period as an example:
Cost of Period Underwear- 10 pairs of period underwear at $25 each = $250 (one-time investment)
- Assuming these 10 pairs of period underwear are used every month for two years, the total cost remains $250.
Cost of Traditional Menstrual Products:
- The cost of traditional menstrual products varies depending on the brand, type, and frequency of use. Let's consider a combination of pads and tampons for this comparison.
- On average, a box of pads or tampons can cost around $5 to $10, depending on the brand and quantity.
- Assuming a monthly usage of one box of pads and one box of tampons, each costing $7:
Monthly cost = $7 (pads) + $7 (tampons) = $14
Over a two-year period (24 months), the total cost of traditional menstrual products would be:
24 months * $14/month = $336
Comparison:
- Over a two-year period, the total cost of period underwear remains constant at $250.
- In contrast, the total cost of traditional menstrual products over the same period would be $336.
- Therefore, opting for period underwear can result in potential savings of $86 over two years compared to traditional menstrual products.
It's important to note that these figures are approximate and can vary based on individual preferences, usage patterns, and the specific brands or types of menstrual products chosen. Additionally, investing in period underwear offers not only potential cost savings but also environmental benefits, as they are reusable and reduce the amount of disposable menstrual waste generated.

-

YONI EGGS + YONI STEAMING
-
Yoni eggs are polished gemstones designed to be inserted into the vagina for various purposes, such as strengthening pelvic floor muscles, increasing sexual pleasure, and promoting spiritual well-being. To use them, simply insert the egg into the vagina and perform exercises like Kegels.
-
Yes, when used properly, yoni eggs are safe for most individuals. It's essential to choose high-quality, non-porous materials like the ones used in Love Stone yoni eggs to minimize the risk of irritation or infection. Additionally, practicing proper hygiene, cleaning the eggs before and after each use, and listening to your body's signals are crucial for a safe experience. If you have any concerns, speak to your doctor or allied health professional.
-
Yoni eggs offer a range of benefits, including strengthening pelvic floor muscles, enhancing sexual sensation and pleasure, increasing vaginal awareness, promoting emotional and spiritual healing, and supporting overall well-being. However, individual experiences may vary.
-
Selecting the correct yoni egg size is essential for a comfortable and effective experience. As a general guideline, beginners may start with larger eggs and gradually progress to smaller sizes as they become more accustomed to using them. Love Stone offers a variety of sizes to accommodate different preferences and needs.
-
Proper cleaning and maintenance are crucial for ensuring the longevity and hygiene of your yoni egg. Before and after each use, wash the egg with mild soap and warm water, then rinse thoroughly. You can also use a toy cleaner specifically designed for intimate products. Store your yoni egg in a clean, dry place when not in use.
-
It's generally not recommended to use yoni eggs during menstruation or pregnancy. During menstruation, the body is naturally cleansing itself, and using a yoni egg may interfere with this process. Additionally, it's essential to consult with a healthcare professional before using yoni eggs during pregnancy to ensure safety.
-
The duration of yoni egg use can vary depending on individual comfort levels and goals. Beginners may start with shorter sessions, such as 10-15 minutes, and gradually increase the time as they become more experienced. It's essential to listen to your body and avoid overexertion.
-
While many individuals can benefit from using yoni eggs, they may not be suitable for everyone. Individuals with certain medical conditions or concerns, such as pelvic pain, infections, or recent childbirth, should consult with a healthcare professional before using yoni eggs.
-
Yes, Love Stone yoni eggs from Eco Period come with detailed instructions for safe and effective use. These instructions provide guidance on how to insert, use, and care for your yoni egg, as well as tips for maximizing its benefits.
-
Yoni steaming, also known as vaginal steaming, is an ancient practice that involves sitting over a pot of steaming water infused with herbs. This practice is believed to promote feminine wellness by supporting menstrual health, fertility, and overall well-being.
-
When done correctly and with the right herbs, and the right temperature, yoni steaming can be safe and beneficial. However, it's essential to follow proper guidelines, such as avoiding steaming for extended periods and ensuring the steam is at a comfortable temperature.
-
We offer five different yoni steam herb blends tailored to various menstrual cycles and needs. For cycles less than 28 days, we recommend our Rejuvenate Gentle blend. For longer cycles, 28 days or more, our Release Cleansing blend is ideal. If you have active infections like BV or UTI, choose the Renew Disinfecting blend. For menopausal and/or heat related symptoms, Refresh Cooling blend is recommended. And if you're looking to support fertility, our Fertility blend is designed to cleanse and prime your womb for conception.
-
Many women find relief from menstrual cramps and discomfort through yoni steaming prior to their period beginning. But we do not recommend steaming when you are menstruating. Instead, we recommend steaming for three days prior to when your cycle is due to begin (and cease when it starts) , and for 3 days after it has finished. Yoni steaming helps to prepare the uterus for your period and by steaming after, it allows residue to be cleared out effectively.
-
The frequency of yoni steaming can vary depending on your needs and menstrual cycle. For a general routine, steam 3 days before and after your cycle begins and ends. However, if you're addressing specific concerns like fertility or menstrual irregularities, you may choose to steam more frequently. It's essential to pay attention to how your body responds and adjust accordingly.
-
Yoni steaming is not recommended during pregnancy as it may interfere with the delicate balance of the body during this time. It's best to avoid yoni steaming while pregnant and consult with your healthcare provider for safe and suitable alternatives.
-
Performing a yoni steam at home is simple. It is nice to perform this ritual close to bedtime as it promotes relaxation. Start by boiling water and adding the appropriate blend of herbs, let it simmer for 7 minutes. We give you an organic muslin tea bag that you can pop your herbs into. This allows you to take the herbs out after steeping and before steaming, so you can use the herbs for a second time (usually the next day). Once steeped, allow the water to cool slightly, then sit comfortably over the steam, ensuring it's not too hot. Cover yourself with a blanket or towel to trap the steam and relax for about 10-15 minutes (30 minutes max). Be sure to follow safety precautions and discontinue if you experience any discomfort.
-
While yoni steaming can be beneficial for many women, it may not be suitable for everyone. Avoid yoni steaming if you're pregnant, during menstruation, have an IUD, or have open wounds or sores in the genital area. Additionally, if you have any concerns or underlying health conditions, it's best to consult with a healthcare provider before trying yoni steaming.
