Eco Period Returns & Exchanges Policy
At Eco Period, we want you to feel confident and comfortable with your purchase. If something isn't quite right, we’re happy to help with an exchange where applicable. Please read through our returns policy to ensure a smooth process.
Returns & Exchanges Eligibility
- Unworn & Unwashed Items: To be eligible for exchange, items must be unworn, unwashed, and in their original condition with all tags and hygiene liners intact.
- Period Underwear & Swimwear: Exchanges are available for size or style adjustments within 20 days of receiving your order, provided only one pair has been tried on over clean underwear.

Hygiene & Intimate-Related Items: Due to hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns or exchanges for:
- Yoni eggs
- Kegel balls
- Cloth pads
- Menstrual cups
First-Time Customer 40-Day Risk-Free Trial
If you are a first-time customer, you can try one pair of period underwear for up to 40 days. If it doesn’t meet your expectations, you can request a refund or a store credit for the trial pair (excluding shipping costs), provided it meets the trial conditions of being based on the functionality of the product, not the fit.
For fit issues, we will exchange for a better fitting size or style (prior to using the product). In terms of functionality, this is to give you reassurance that the product does absorb and protect against leaks. We cannot offer refunds if the product has been worn past its absorption capacity.*
How to Exchange Your Item(s)
- Contact Us: Email us at info@ecoperiod.com.au within 20 days of receiving your order. Let us know the item(s) you wish to exchange and your preferred size or style. Or

Fill out the EXCHANGE FORM (click to open) with your order number (or name items were purchased under), the items you need to exchange and what you need to exchange with.

- Replacement Shipping: Once we receive your item, we will cover the return shipping costs for the new item (up to one replacement per order). If we are out of stock, we will offer a store credit.
Refunds
- Sanitary Products: Refunds are not offered for intimate products (yoni eggs, kegel balls, menstrual cups, cloth pads) and for sanitary products such as period underwear and swimwear**, except under the 40-Day Risk-Free Trial.*
- Faulty or Damaged Items: If you receive a faulty or damaged product, contact us within 7 days with a description and photos of the issue. We’ll work with you to arrange a replacement or exchange.
- Restocking Fee: A restocking fee of 10% applies to refunds for returned items.
Order Cancellation or Changes
- Orders are processed quickly, and we cannot guarantee changes or cancellations after submission. If you need to amend your order, please contact us immediately at info@ecoperiod.com.au, but we cannot ensure that the changes will be made.
Bundle Pack Policy
- No Refunds on Bundles: Items purchased in a bundle pack are final sale and cannot be refunded. However, you may exchange unused and unwashed items within 20 days for other items of equal value (or pay the difference for a higher-value item). You will be responsible for the shipping costs.

*As a first-time customer, you may try one pair of period underwear for 40-days risk-free and if it doesn't function as an alternative to pads and tampons, we will happily give you your money back (minus the cost of shipping) or a store credit for the one pair.
We will require an explanation of the reason for your request. The trial applies to one worn garment only and is purely based on the functionality of the product, (not the fit of the product, which can be determined by trying the product on over clean underwear). We cannot refund a product that has simply been worn past the absorption capacity of the garment. Everyone's flow is different. Some underwear will last a whole day on some people, but only two hours for another person with a heavy flow (for example). So we don't claim that our underwear will last a specified number of hours. We suggest you try them at home first to get to know how long they will last for you, so you can be prepared to change throughout the day, if need be. Successful claims will require return of the washed claimed item or evidence of destruction submitted.
**We cannot resell sanitary products that have been handled by customers in any way. Eco Period Australia Pty Ltd upholds strict hygiene standards and complies with the Australian Government Department of Health: Therapeutic Goods Administration standards.
***Gift Cards have a 2 year expiry date and will cover the total purchase price of the returned items (excluding shipping) allowing you to repurchase once back in stock.
