This 2-piece Period Bikini Set includes a pair of period bottoms and a crop bikini top with adjustable shoulder straps. Available in black or teal.
The set is fully lined and the period swim bikini bottoms feature a 3 layer gusset with a leakproof layer, absorbent and wicking layer.
Eco period swimwear uses similar technology to our leakproof period underwear Eco Tech, but with the addition of a dry mesh layer against the skin for absorption of body fluids into its core, and water-resistant outer fabric to prevent pool or ocean water from getting inside.
All items are fully lined for comfort and quality.
- Eco period bikini bottoms absorbs up to 20 ml - no need for disposable period and incontinence products, you can safely wear these without tampons or a menstrual cup.
- Made from pre-consumer recycled nylon - saved from going to landfill.
- No seam lines - internal gusset layers are not sewn on the outside, but sewn on the inside and attached to the inner lining layer.
- Absorbs your period, not the water you’re swimming in. Absorbs light to moderate bleeding, spotting and light bladder leaks.
- UV50+ rated sun protection.
Fabric Composition: Recycled nylon outer fabric
When your swimwear arrive, try them on over your regular, clean underwear before use to check the fit. Make sure to give them a wash before your first wear to improve the absorption performance.
Then to use the swimwear, simply wear them like you would with any of your other swimwear.
Step 1 Wash your Eco Period swimwear before wearing / using them. This activates the EcoTech and primes it for use.
Step 2, After wearing, rinse in cold water until the blood/ fluids are mostly removed. You can do this in the shower to save water, but just do it before the water heats up past 30 degrees, as heat will set stains into the fabrics.
Step 3. Pop your swimwear into a delicates wash bag and into the washing machine on a cold wash. Use a liquid natural detergent.
No fabric softeners.
Step 4. Hang dry on the line outside. Line drying is best as it is kinder to the fabrics. Just don't leave them out on the line for days.
Eco Period swimwear should NEVER:
Be cleansed with harsh detergents (these abrade and break down clothes which shortens their effectiveness and lifespan)
Be cleansed with fabric softeners (it's like fabric cholesterol and blocks the pathways in the fabric through which the liquid travels)
Be bleached (bleach kills everything, need we say more)
Be dry cleaned (putting the products into such a harsh environment with or without the added chemicals is bad)
Be washed in very hot water (heat breaks down the fibres and natural compounds that make these products so effective.

The fit is perfect for sizing. The swimwear bottoms appear to work really well. Very happy with this product.
I bought 2 pairs for my daughter and over this weekend she wore both pairs - one to go down a blow up water slide for 4 hours and the other the next day swimming in the Beach and pool at our campground and wore that pair for 7 hours!
Nothing trickled out and no blood anywhere even being out of the water and playing in the sand. I emailed customer service and asked for two in different sizes, which they happily obliged. They do recommend they aren't loose on them, but they are great.
After she is done with them I just throw them in the washer on a delicate cycle and they are clean for the next time.
On holidays on a tropical island on the heaviest day of my period. Was able to spend the day snorkelling and hoping in an out of the water no problems. Don't know what I would have done without these excellent swimmer bottoms.

I bought a pair of bikini swimwear bottoms for my 13 yr old daughter. I think I ordered the wrong size but there was no problem returning them and getting another size. Such a wonderful process purchasing my daughters swim bikini briefs. Realised only 3 days before departure that my 2 daughters were both due during our holiday! Eco Period were so helpful and personal to deal with and the ordering process was easy and with express shipping they arrived in time 🙌🙌🙌 We’ve purchased another brand once before and they weren’t nearly as good as these. My daughter was able to wear them from Day 1 of her period! Other company she had to wait until at least day 3 or day 4. They are also nice and covering yet flattering. I HIGHLY recommend!!!!! Awesome service. We received the wrong colour and it was promptly replaced. The swim bottoms are undetectable as period wear, and look 100% like normal bikini bottoms. The cut is flattering. They run a little small in my opinion. Highly recommend
