Our approach to sustainability
Eco Period Australia set out to give the Australian market another option for reusable period support, one that's sustainable all round. From sourcing fabric that's Control Union certified organic (safe, healthy and non-toxic) to production that's socially responsible, and choosing vegan, non-animal fabrics for a genuinely cruelty-free product. We also choose compostable or recycled packaging wherever we can, and we offset our carbon emissions through Carbon Positive Australia.
Certified organic, ethically sourced fabric
We make the majority of our underwear with organic cotton because it doesn't involve the toxic chemicals or pesticides used in conventional cotton production. It uses less water, and it doesn't degrade the land it's grown on.
Organic cotton is also incredibly durable, which means our garments are made to last, not to be replaced every season. We guarantee every pair for 12 months.
Low-impact packaging & carbon offsetting
Sustainability doesn't stop at the fabric. We choose compostable or recycled packaging over single-use plastic wherever we can, cutting unnecessary waste out of every order.
And because no supply chain has zero footprint, we offset our carbon emissions through Carbon Positive Australia, an accredited program that funds reforestation and renewable energy projects here at home.
